Location: Remote/Hybrid

Job Summary:

Luke & Associates Inc. is looking for a skilled Controller to oversee our accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role involves collaborating with the executive team and board to forecast, budget, and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required
• 2-4 years of experience managing or supervising a finance team
• Experience with government contracts is a plus
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Knowledge of global ERP and consolidation software systems (e.g., Unanet, Deltek, Management Reporting)

Core Duties and Additional Skills:

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Establish processes for accurate forecasting and budgeting of the P&L, balance sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
• Coordinate and direct year-end audits
• Manage all accounting operations for the business
• Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls for asset projection
• Conduct month-end and quarter-end analytics, including P&L and balance sheet flux analysis
• Collaborate with local finance/accounting teams to ensure compliance with global processes and policies
• Perform ad-hoc technical accounting research on US GAAP-related issues
• Own the close calendar
