Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience managing and drafting proposals for large Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and task orders, specifically in the medical staffing sector. In this role, you will oversee the entire proposal process, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling proposals that meet government requirements and position our company for success. Your work will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth and expansion into new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full proposal development process for government contracts, with a focus on large IDIQ contracts and task order proposals in the medical staffing sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., business development, operations, and technical teams) and external partners to gather the necessary information for proposal development.
- Draft clear, persuasive, and compliant proposal content that aligns with RFP requirements, government regulations, and client needs.
- Organize proposal schedules, facilitate review cycles, and coordinate resources to ensure timely proposal submissions.
- Review proposal content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client guidelines and instructions.
- Utilize tools such as GovWin and SharePoint to manage proposal documents, track progress, and facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Participate in capture activities, providing strategic input related to proposal content and overall strategy.
- Stay up to date on changes to Defense Health Agency (DHA) regulations and medical staffing requirements to ensure compliance and maximize win potential.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience managing and writing proposals for government contracts, with a strong focus on large IDIQ contracts and task order proposals in the medical staffing or healthcare sector.
- Proficient in using GovWin and SharePoint for proposal management and collaboration.
- Proven ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners to draft proposal content and manage the proposal lifecycle.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions in a compelling manner.
- Familiarity with federal government procurement processes, FAR/DFAR regulations, and proposal development best practices.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and its requirements is highly desired.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
